can be accommodated in our day-care centre.
You may bring your kids along to us on fixed days. 'Kids voor Kinderen'
is open 50 weeks of the year.
Our day-care centre is marvellously situated on the
outskirts of Hilversum town centre. There is ample space for your
children to play safely both inside and out. The day-care centre exudes
a pleasant and child friendly atmosphere. We have well-equipped, sanitary
and hygienic facilities, kitchens and day-care rooms at our disposal.
Your children are the focus of our attention !!
It goes without saying that this basic principle is a recurring focal
point for us as regards the daily care of your children. This principle
is expressed in the Educational Policy Plan of 'Kids voor Kinderen'.
Our educational vision, in which self-development, independence and
plenty of playtime for the children is pivotal, is described in this
Educational Policy Plan step by step. A copy of this Educational Policy
Plan is, of course, available for your perusal at our day-care centre.
You are also taken into consideration at 'Kids voor
Kinderen' day-care centre. We offer you the possibility to utilise
our errand and/or dry-cleaning service, to have your child's hair
cut by our children's hairdresser or to reserve a warm meal for your
child. Should you wish to make use of these additional facilities
you can enquire about them at our centre.
Day-care
We look after children from zero to four years at our day-care centre.
The day-care centre has 4 parallel groups. Two baby groups (0-2 years)
and two toddlers groups (2-4 years). The size of the group corresponds
to the age of your child and there are at least two accredited leaders
present. The day-care centre is open every working day from 07.30
until 18.00.
A child place is reserved for a day-care stay subject
to our General Conditions. These can be found later in the site.
'Kids voor Kinderen' differentiates between the children's' places
mentioned below:

Private
places
For a private child place, you reserve a child place yourself.
The costs of this are entirely at your own expense. If you employer does
not reserve any corporate places at 'Kids voor Kinderen', however, does
have a company arrangement for child day-care, then you are likely to
be elligible for a private corporate place. Depending upon your company's
arrangements you may have to pay back part of these costs to your employer.
You can enrol your child by filling in the registration
form and sending it back to us, later in this information folder. We do
not charge a registration fee; however, do charge a one-off administration
fee of €50 for a successful placement.
Registration is official once the registration form is in our possession.
Depending on the waitlist your child shall receive a place.
In order to provide you with a clear overview of the prices
for day-care and other services please refer to the price list which can
be found later in this site. Should you have specific queries you can
contact the 'Kids voor Kinderen' day-care centre. For telephone numbers
and addresses please see the site.
The 'Kids voor Kinderen' team shall always attempt to
grant your wishes. However, your children remain our number one priority.
We want what is best for them just as you do. For this reason we guarantee
a high quality day-care centre, so that you can feel at ease when you
bring your children here.

Educational
Policy
We strive to educate your children well , amongst other
things, we strive to encourage children to become independent persons
at the same time as encouraging these persons to integrate into social/
community life.
Young persons must be prepared for social life in order
that they can find contentment in reciprocal relationships with others.
Our day-care centre, being a part-time educator, contributes
to the upbringing of your child (ren).
They are made aware of the need for self-respect, for respecting others
and their surroundings. Upbringing is not a separate subject but one which
appears in all sorts of aspects of learning and situations.
In order to give parents/ guardians, leaders and others
who are directly related, insight into the working procedure of our organisation,
we have developped the Educational Policy Plan. It serves as a solid guideline
in order to ascertain whether our day-care centre aspires to what it has
agreed.
The Educational Policy Plan also serves to examine the
continuation and safeguarding of the quality within our day-care centre.
The term 'parents' is used in the Educational Policy Plan.
To this end, you can also read 'guardians/ legal representatives'. Where
the masculine form is stated this also refers to the feminine form.
A number of protocols have been added to the Educational
Policy Plan. It contains guidelines with respect to actions and/ or situations,
for which our day-care centre deems it necessary to describe explicitly.
The protocols are available for your perusal at the day-care centre.
'Kids voor Kinderen' , the day-care centre
Within our day-care centre we operate a clear organisational structure.
The daily running rests with the location manager of the day-care centre.
The location manager supports the group leaders and also performs groupleader
tasks whenever necessary. The location manager comes under the direct
management of the manager of the 'Kids voor Kinderen' day-care centre.
All officials possess the diplomas necessary to carrry
out their positions. Conversations are held periodically in order to evaluate
the quality of the personnel. This takes place at management level.
There is also a clear structure to be found in the classfication
of the groups. It has consciously been selected for a parallel classification
of the groups; a baby and a toddler group. The exception is the baby/
toddler group. This is primarily to do with the efficient accommodating
of the children present.
The aforementioned classification guarantees an optimal development of
a child together with children of the same age with a relatively similiar
level of development. It provides the child in group situations with physical
and mental protection against the 'dominance' of other children who are
potentially more advanced in their development.
And then the welcome
When a child obtains a place, an intake consultation takes place with
the parents. This meeting serves as a mutual initial introduction. The
child comes along with one parent in order to settle in. We operate an
adjustment scheme.
Transferal to another group will be determined on the basis of the time
of placement at the day-care centre. This means that your child automatically
transfers from the baby/tiny tot to the toddler group. In the event of
a possible lag in development transfer to a successive group can be postponed.
This will always occur in consultation with the parents, leaders, management
and remedial educationalist.
Basic principles with respect to our educational policy
In order to shape the educational policy plan within our day-care centre,
we operate three educational principles. These basic principles serve
as the guidelines for the education and supervision of children in our
day-care centre. They are based on experience, morms and values attributable
to our society. The children's interest is hereby focal.
The educational principles are described below.
1. We strive to provide safety and security in our day-care
centre.
2. We want to stimulate children in their development.
3. We want to stimulate the self-confidence and independence of children
insofar as possible.
For our day-care centre, these principles are the guidelines
for our educational policy. Our day-care centre is in its early stages
of development and will further develop. Furthermore, our educational
policy will change with this development. It is our intention that our
educational policy plan as presented to you, will be kept up to date and
will fulfill the current quality requirements. We use the "Handleiding
Kwaliteitsstelsel Kinderopvang" published by HKZ. Currently, we are
busy trying to implement this quality system.
It is our intention to further develop this educational
policy plan from the shop floor by the immediate carers of the children
and to substantiate the educational principles with examples from the
daily practice, for the educational principals.
